I am a Berlin born creative mind with a hunger for responsibilty. After graduating from Zurich University of Arts, I recently moved back to Berlin and am eager to prove myself at the overlap of creative producing and online media.
Focusing on my creative project management skills and tapping into my livelong passion for film, I graduated from the Creative Master's program at the Film Institute of Zurich University of Arts. Apart from furthering my academic knowledge on history of film/cinemas and transmedia, I developed my practical experience by managing complex and collaborative projects such as short films and documentaries. Some of the key learnings and expertise on all stages of the production process gained include: starting early with refining ideas and developing them into script; calculating budgets and handling funding inquiries; focusing on organizing crews and on-set logistics; post-production.
During the summer of 2013, I built on my passion for international creative cooperation by spending two months in the Beijing, participating in a Summer School project called ‘Common Stage’ . In collective groups of European and Chinese students, we organized a campus art show presenting Chinese and European perspectives on environmental issues. ‘Common Stage’ was a very valuable experience that developed my cross-cultural communication skills and ability to adapt and produce creative projects within local societies.
The Bachelor of Arts degree Online-Redakteur (Online-Editor) at Fachhochschule Köln (Cologne University of Applied Sciences) provided me with the skillset needed for creating web content. Courses I followed include audio/video creation, creative/journalistic writing, web design, marketing and communication science fundamentals.
